I am a dedicated Information Technology (IT) professional holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from KCA University. I have a strong background in computer networks, IT service desk management, and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). My expertise lies in ensuring seamless operations, swift issue resolution, user support, troubleshooting and system optimization. As a leader, and with this expertise I will help KESCA achieve better data and information systems. I am passionate about issues that bring about positive change for young people with lived care experience, and I am also a great advocate for care reform, this is to ensure that all children enjoy the love and support of a family in communities and not orphanages or children’s homes.

I am a youth worker by profession with a bias towards mental health issues and psycho-social interventions. And passionate about helping and supporting children and young people to cope with various life challenges to improve their lives.  I have a diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have over seven years of experience supporting children and young people in a variety of settings. In my free time, I enjoy reading blogs, books and human-interest articles, and spending time with friends and loved ones. I have a keen interest in travel and learning about other countries, people and ways of life.

I am a Food Scientist majoring in complex Food Safety Management Systems. I have a keen interest in food security. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, a major in Complex Food Safety Management Systems, and a keen interest in food security. I am passionate about community-based engagements, I give my time to charitable grassroots initiatives that promote the rights and well-being of the marginalized. I believe true leadership is in servant leadership, I love serving through my leadership experience. I have a Master’s Degree in Children, Youth and International Development from Brunel University, London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. I am passionate about children and young people in care and those with lived experience in Society. Over the last few years, I have been involved in promoting care reform at national, regional and global levels. Moreover, I am also passionate about children’s rights, child participation, advocacy, the criminal justice system, and disability rights. I have also contributed greatly to various advocacy initiatives to inform and influence policy and legislation on care reform and alternative care.

I am a diploma holder in sales and marketing from the Nairobi Institute of Business Studies. I am currently undertaking a Diploma in Social Work and Community Development at Kenya Institute of Social Work and Community Development.  I am the founder of Kawangware Youth Hub. A youth group working to empower youth especially young ladies and teenagers through life skills and other empowerment projects.  I am passionate about children and young people in care and those with lived care experience in Society.
