“The sessions have helped me know my purpose in life.”
This is a program designed to address the needs of young women exiting institutional. Since inception in 2013, the program has trained 30 young women. A qualified life-skills trainer/ psychologist facilitates sessions which aim at empowering them with life-skills. In addition, the project addresses issues to do with sexual reproductive health, broadening their choices but also equipping them with relevant knowledge to protect themselves. The project has concentrated on developing social interrelationship skills, psychological and emotional coping mechanisms, and last but not least economic/ and financial skills. We believe that a holistic approach is important in all our interventions, and each aspect of a human beings development is essential to live a productive and meaningful life.
We are a registered Society with a growing collective of young people and adults with lived experience with representation across all Counties in Kenya.
